Types of Evaluation
-
Neuropsychological Evaluation (Ages 6 to Adult)
A comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation includes an extensive assessment of intellectual, neurocognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral skills. These evaluations are crucial tools for identifying strengths and weaknesses, clarifying diagnoses, and providing recommendations for treatment.
-
Developmental Evaluation (Ages 3-5)
These evaluations are designed for children ages 3-5 years old. If your young child is struggling with delays in their cognitive or speech development, behavioral problems, or there are concerns for autism, this evaluation can help you provide those answers.
-
Autism Evaluation (Ages 6 to Adult)
These evaluations are appropriate whenever there is a specific question of autism, and will assess social-emotional and intellectual/cognitive skills to determine diagnoses and recommendations for treatment.
-
Learning Disorder/Dyslexia Evaluation (Ages 6 to Adult)
A comprehensive learning disability evaluation will assess skills in reading, writing, and mathematics, as well as intellectual and cognitive skills. This evaluation will provide an understanding of strengths and weaknesses, potential diagnoses such as dyslexia, and also will provide specific recommendations for accommodations and supports in school.
-
ADHD Evaluation (Ages 6 to Adult)
These evaluations are designed for when there is a specific question of ADHD and/or executive functioning challenges (e.g. inattention, time management issues, disorganization).
-
Standardized Testing Accommodation (SAT, MCAT, etc.) Evaluation
If you or your child have a known or suspected condition that would necessitate accommodations (e.g. extended time) on standardized tests, this comprehensive evaluation will determine what accommodations are necessary, and provide the appropriate documentation in order to obtain those accommodations.
