Find out how New Heights Neuropsychology is different.
Individualized Care
At New Heights we prioritize getting to know you and/or your child individually. For that reason, Dr. Damon-Minow conducts all parts of the evaluation process herself. There are no psychometrists or other assistants involved in the evaluation process and all clinical interactions will be directly between you and Dr. Damon-Minow.
Strengths-Based & Neurodiversity-Affirming
New Heights Neuropsychology emphasizes a stregths-based approach, rather than focusing solely on deficits with the goal of providing a positive and empowering environment. Dr. Damon-Minow is a neurodiversity-affirming practitioner and seeks to raise awareness and encourage understanding of neurodiversity and neuroinclusion.
Supplementary Protected Time
An evaluation through New Heights Neuropsychology offers supplementary protected time after the completion of the evaluation so we can answer your questions and provide additional support. This means that for a period of 6-months following completion of your evaluation, you may schedule one 30 minute session with Dr. Damon--Minow to answer any lingering questions or seek out feedback moving forward for no additional fee. Consultation beyond this time is always available for a fee.
Timely & Collaborative
You can expect to receive a comprehensive written report from Dr. Damon-Minow within 1 - 2 weeks of the feedback session. You will not wait months to provide this information to other providers involved in your/your child’s care. Dr. Damon-Minow will also take the time to reach out to other providers involved in your or your child’s care to ensure that all parties fully understand the results of the evaluation, as well as personalized recommendations moving forward.
